Steve Demetriou Announces Candidacy for Ohio House of Representatives District 23

October 26, 2021

Chagrin Falls – today, Steve Demetriou – husband, father, West Point graduate, former Army ranger, and small business owner – announced his candidacy for the Republican Nomination for Ohio House District 23.

Demetriou said of the announcement, “I want to run for the Ohio House of Representatives to bring the same tireless work ethic which I have demonstrated throughout my military and business careers. I will be focused on getting Ohio back on track in terms of our schools, business growth, and accountability. I will bring solutions for these and other important issues to Columbus.”

Demetriou continued, “As I think about my family’s future, I am concerned that Ohio is falling behind. We can’t expect different results when we continue to send the same-old, career politicians to represent us in the State House. That’s why we need innovative and pragmatic conservative leaders to step up and make a change. I am committed to take on that responsibility for our community.”

The primary is scheduled to take place on May 3, 2022.
