Ohio State House Candidate Steve Demetriou Raises Over $207,000 in Two Weeks

CHAGRIN FALLS – Today, the campaign for Steve Demetriou, veteran and small business owner running for the newly formed Ohio State House District 23, announced that Demetriou raised over $207,000 in just two weeks since launching his campaign.

Team Demetriou said of the announcement, “Since launching his campaign just two weeks ago, Steve has been honored by the outpouring of support he has received for his candidacy. Friends, family, and voters of the new House District 23 have banded together to collectively voice their support for sending Steve to Columbus to get things done for them.”


“We look forward to the months ahead as Steve continues to communicate his fresh perspective on representing us in the State House,” Team Demetriou continued. “Steve is excited to spread his message of limited government, fiscal responsibility, and pro-business policies to the 23rd district.”


Steve Demetriou grew up in Northeast Ohio. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2011 with Dean’s List honors and a bachelor’s degree in economics. After West Point, the United States Army commissioned Steve as an infantry officer. He deployed to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom, where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. After the military, Steve started and successfully grew a business, eventually employing more than 60 people. Steve now runs an investment business with his family. He is married with a newborn son.
